Menaion

This book is composed of twelve volumes, one for every month. Part of the Menaia are the Synaxaria containing accounts of the saints' lives and the history of the feast. The Menaia contains also the texts of the Canons with their Hirmoi, Troparia, Stichera, Kontakia, etc. The Menaia shows some prescriptions of the Typikon.
